316/316L Stainless Steel Pipe

Grade 316 is a molybdenum stainless steel with corrosion resistance superior to 304, especially in chloride environments. The low-carbon (0.03% maximum) 316L version of 316 has a lower risk of weld sensitization and decay, which makes it excellent for applications that require extensive welding when compared to grades 316 and 304.
